‘Prostitute’ beheaded in Mohmand Agency

GHALANAI: A woman’s headless body was found in the Nahqi area of Mohmand Agency headquarters Ghalanai, on Friday. The severed head was wrapped in a shawl, while a letter written in Pashtu attached to the body stated that the woman was murdered because she was a “prostitute”. The letter threatened those indulged in immoral activities with a similar fate. The letter also said that she was punished after a trial supported by witnesses and evidence. staff report
